Silke Johns BA(Hons), PGCE (sec.), ITEC L3 Holistic Massage, Dipl. Infant Massage, Dipl. Pregnancy Massage, MCTHA, MCHNC

During both my pregnancies, I found pregnancy massage incredibly helpful. During some of the tougher days with pelvic girdle pain, severe heartburn, tired legs and terrible backache combined wth sleepless nights, there was nothing better than having a pregnancy massage.

Following the births of my children, I attended baby massage classes, which really helped in particular my son during the dark days of colic.

All this left me wanting to find out more about massage therapy, and wanting to give the same feeling of relief, happiness and relaxation to other pregnant women and new mothers – or simply anyone else – who could do with a bit of relaxation, ‘me-time’ and pampering.

I am fully qualified in Holistic Massage (ITEC), have also done an extensive pregnancy massage diploma (rather than the more common short 1-day CPD course in pregnancy massage), and am therefore qualified to treat pregnant ladies from Day 1, i.e. including the first trimester.

I am trained in First Aid At Work, as well as Baby First Aid.
